Guide to Class Levels:

Beginners: Anyone new to Hot Sauce Burlesque School, regardless of background or prior knowledge. Offering an introduction, refinement or further development to fundamental level covering core burlesque movements.

Open Level: Must have completed at least one term in beginners or enrolled in beginners during the same term as you plan to enroll in Open Level. Developing stage craft and refining movement with reflections on core burlesque skills.

*NEW* Intermediate: An intermediate class will work towards developing skill and opportunities to explore their individual flare in a group setting. Students must understand the elements of tease and reveal - working towards a routine with precision and finesse. This is more structured and skill-orientated than Open Level.

Advanced: This level requires a strong understanding of burlesque concepts and techniques.
- Ability to learn and retain choreography through independent effort, resulting in precision and finesse of movement.
- Advanced can encompass all or some of the following: fast-paced choreography, high-level choreography, ability to understand and easily embody concepts, advanced characterisation/acting skills, advanced use of props and more.
-If you are doing an advanced class, a higher level of commitment and attendance is required.
-An advanced student is expected to execute their performance to an aspiring professional level by showing commitment and intention.
